How Our City of Keller Supports Seniors

The City of Keller held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 6th, 2020, investing in a new Keller Senior Activities Center facility for seniors. The facility opened in January 2022, available to all residents and non-residents, 55 years of age and older.
​ 
The new facility includes a large activity room that can be divided into 3 individual multipurpose rooms, a full-size gym, fitness room, game room, arts & craft room, classroom, an area for socializing and a kitchen. The center delivers quality customer service through its City of Keller employees, its most valued resource, who care and want to make a difference by creating an environment that is safe and beneficial for all.  The Keller Community Senior Fund, Inc., (KCSF) values the Keller Senior Activities Center (KSAC) and what the City of Keller provides for our seniors.

The KCSF endeavor to create a non-profit organization began a few years before the groundbreaking ceremony, while working with the City of Keller to achieve the KSAC Mission for our seniors (click here for more KCSF History).

Keller Community Senior Fund, Inc., (KCSF) 

KCSF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds to support additional activities for the members of the Keller Senior Activities Center (KSAC).  Some of the activities we support are:
  •  Mystery Dinner
  • Veterans Day event
  • Jolly Jamboree
  • Pickleball Tournaments, Jazz Festival, and more

KCSF Mission
To improve the quality of life and serve the Keller, Texas senior community.
 
KCSF Vision
Members of the Keller senior community will experience enhanced independence and health (social, mental, and physical) and be viewed with greater value, dignity, and respect.​
 
KCSF Purpose
To provide seniors using the Keller Senior Activities Center with support for all activities by increasing funds through donations, grants, and in-kind services.​

All donations the KCSF receive go directly to achieve our Mission, Vision and Purpose, to provide seniors using the KSAC with support for all activities.​

Keller Senior Activities Center (KSAC)

​KSAC is provided through the City of Keller.  The City of Keller manages:
  • the building
  • provides the employees
  • offers a wide range of activities
  • Special Events and Travel Opportunities
  • a Meal Program
  • KSAC Newsletter capturing all the above details
They also encourage volunteers to help support the senior center.  ​

KSAC Mission
To encourage individuals and groups to connect with one another by creating a welcoming, diverse and fun environment by providing a wide range of programs and activities to include health and wellness, education and enrichment courses, special events, travel opportunities and a meal program.  

KSAC Newsletter
The City of Keller prepares and publishes the KSAC Newsletter quarterly. It details special events, activities, classes and trips. Download the Newsletter or go to www.cityofkeller.com/seniorcenter, or hard copies are available at the KSCA front desk.
